General Information

All players must be 18 years of age or older, unless prior approval is granted by tournament organizers.

All Teams must be affiliated with their respective waterpolo federation. If you have any questions regarding your affiliation, please contact us.

All Canadian players must be registered in Water Polo Canada’s RAMP system under “Perform in Water Polo”.

2SLGTBQIA+ players not affiliated with a registered team can contact the tournament organizers to be connected to a team looking for additional players.

For international Teams to participate they must provide:

Certificate of insurance from the foreign federation naming WPC as additional insured.

Letter of good standing from the foreign federation listing all participants.

Proof of travel medical insurance.

All documents must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to competition.

Competitive
For advanced teams
(recommended for participants with 3+ years playing water polo and prior tournament experience)
B
Recreation
For a fun and chill vibe for everyone

At least four teams must register in the competitive category for this stream to take place. Otherwise, it will be merged into an all-levels tournament.

Participants may compete on only one team, with the exception of exhibition games.
Cost and
what's included

Registration will be team-based.

Estimated registration fee of $ 1,000 CAD per team.

18 players per team maximum.
-
Every team will play a minimum of 4 games.
-
One special exhibition game for Women (cis and trans), non binary, and other gender-non-conforming participants interested in playing an extra game.

Tournament social events are not included in registration fees.
Important dates
December 1st – March 31st
Priority registration is open for IGLA+ teams. Teams who register after March 31st won’t have their spot guaranteed.
Wednesday April 1st
Registration opens for Non-IGLA+ teams.
Saturday May 9th
Deadline for payment (details to follow).
Saturday May 16th
Deadline for rosters on Water Polo Canada’s RAMP platform (a link will be sent).
Friday May 22nd
Pre-tournament social (details to follow).
Saturday May 23rd - Sunday May 24th
Tournament games.
